Summary of council VicSmart application fees

The VicSmart application fee is set by the State government but paid to the local council to assess the application. The fee is dependent on the estimated cost of development in the planning application:

Additional fees apply for:

• more than one class of VicSmart application (add 50% of the lesser fee above per class)
• amendments to VicSmart permits (the same as for a new application above)
• endorsements of secondary consent (ie minor amendments to plans on a VicSmart permit)
